When is Art Basel Miami 2026?

Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 is open to the public Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Before that come two invitation-only preview days, Wednesday, December 2 and Thursday, December 3. If you are planning a trip around the parties, the useful window is Wednesday through Sunday, preview days included, because the day list below runs from Wednesday, December 2 to Sunday, December 6.

What is Miami Art Week?

Miami Art Week is the name for the whole week around the fair. Art Basel itself is one fair, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Around it, satellite fairs and parties run across the city. When people search for Art Basel parties or Miami Art Week parties, they usually mean the same thing: the social side of the week, day and night.

For the pool party crowd, that social side happens by day, poolside or on the sand. That is the part of the week this site covers: the pool and beach parties at the Goodtime Hotel, the National Hotel and DAER Dayclub.

The Goodtime Hotel is at 601 Washington Ave in South Beach, Miami Beach. Its pool has parties all Basel weekend with big-name talent, and tickets for Goodtime nights are sold right here on this site. It is the easiest pick if you are staying in South Beach and want the pool party to fit around the fair.

National Hotel

The National Hotel is the Art Deco landmark at 1677 Collins Ave, in the middle of the Miami Beach hotel strip. During Basel week it has a party on the beach. Check the day list above for the date, and the event page for the details.

DAER Dayclub

DAER Dayclub is at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, north of Miami. It is the biggest production of the three, and it has Basel events too. If its Basel date is not in the day list yet, it has not been announced; it appears on this page and on the Basel page as soon as it is listed.

Getting a cabana during Basel week

If you are coming as a group, a cabana or daybed gives everyone a place to sit, keep drinks and regroup between sets. It also means you are not hunting for space on the busiest weekend of the season. Basel week is a good week to decide early rather than on the day.

Availability and minimums depend on the venue, the date and the lineup, so the answer you get back is for your date, not a general price list. What to wear to an Art Basel pool party

Art Basel week draws a dressed-up crowd, but the pool rules still apply. At the Goodtime Hotel, guests are asked to arrive in upscale swimwear or resort wear; a cover-up and sandals work. Athletic apparel, jerseys, jeans, cargos, ripped clothing, baggy swim attire, backpacks, boots and oversized bags can be refused at the door.

At DAER, swimwear has to be on before entry. Athletic apparel, jerseys, basketball shorts, jeans and cargo shorts are turned away, and you need a valid photo ID: DAER is strictly 21+, and so is the Goodtime Hotel pool party. A small bag, sunscreen and a cover-up for the walk between the pool and the evening plans cover most of what you need.

Getting between Miami Beach and the Hard Rock

The Goodtime Hotel and the National Hotel are both on Miami Beach, so if you are staying in South Beach you can plan a fair day and a pool party without leaving the island. At the Goodtime Hotel, valet is the simplest option; public lots on Washington Ave are a short walk but fill quickly. For the National Hotel, use the garages on 16th and 17th Street or a rideshare to the Collins Ave entrance.

DAER is the one that takes planning. Seminole Hard Rock is in Hollywood, FL, a 30–40 minute drive north of South Beach. Rideshare drops at the main entrance. If you drive, self-parking in the Hard Rock garages is free, DAER points dayclub guests to the Lucky Street garage off US 441 (State Road 7), and valet costs extra. On a Basel weekend, pick one venue per day rather than trying to do DAER and a Miami Beach party back to back.

How to plan the week
